Juncal gained her PhD in Microbiology from Nottingham Trent University in 2007 after that period she worked for two years at the same university in different research positions.

Juncal joined Diversey in 2009 as the Expert Centre Microbiologist. During the following 7 years, she held various positions of increasing responsibility in the microbiology, infection prevention and regulatory areas. Juncal gained expertise on microbiology, efficacy testing, different cleaning and disinfection products applications, new product development and liaison with main stake holders, customer support, marketing claims, competitor portfolio review etc.

In 2017 she moved to regulatory consultancy and started working for TSG consulting as their Biocides and Efficacy consultant. During that period Juncal project managed many successful projects, lead and managed the project teams, allocated resources, made sure that any issues were raised and resolved promptly, and the projects were kept on budget. She provided general efficacy advice and support on the efficacy requirements for the different BPR product types and gained experience on delivering regulatory strategies for biocides, including data gap analysis, intelligent testing strategies, devising product families and providing tailored regulatory advice. Building strong relationships with clients and liaising with the relevant Regulatory Authorities, attendance at pre-submission meetings and providing post-submission support. Furthermore, she represented clients during ECHA working group meetings.

Juncal has over 10 years’ experience on disinfectants and the regulatory field. She joined Arrow Regulatory in May 2020 as a Senior Consultant specialising in biocides and efficacy.
