Ciarán gained his PhD in Chemistry from the University of Dublin, Trinity College in 2018 Completing a doctoral thesis detailing the results of two projects: the reactivity of graphene towards common oxidants and biomimetic catalysts and the preparation of graphene/MoS2 hetero-structures via covalent and non-covalent means and their use as electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution. 

 

In June 2019 Ciarán joined Arrow Regulatory (Ireland) Limited as a Regulatory Affairs Consultant and will be focused in the areas of REACH OR and Biocide Product Registrations.
